Artisan is a Pre-Order Bakery. Please email or call before stopping by.
We are not a walk-in bakery. Pre-Order Pick Up is Available Tuesday to Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and Monday.

Cancellation Policy
No Cancellations, Date Transfers, Rainchecks or Credits.
Once orders are placed and paid for: no changes or cancellations can be made.
If your party is cancelled and you have paid in full: no refunds, date transfers, or store credit will be provided.
We were very lenient and understanding throughout COVID-19 and 2020, 2021, 2022. Now, we need to change our cancellation policy in order to continue operating.

No, that would be impossible! We’ve designed over 18,000 cakes since 2007.

Yes, absolutely!
Anytime you have a photo to share with us, this is considered a custom cake and requires a minimum 21 days notice.
Email us with the photo or inspiration.

Over the past 17 years, I’ve worked at over 200 venues between Plymouth and Providence.

We serve Southeastern Massachusetts. The bakery is located in Rochester, MA.
We are conveniently located just 7 minutes from the Target in Wareham, Massachusetts.
Surrounding towns include: Mattapoisett, Marion, Acushnet.
Most of our Clients Live in the Greater New Bedford Area: Fairhaven, New Bedford, Dartmouth, Padanaram, Acushnet, Lakeville, Fall River, Rehoboth.
And South Shore MA towns of: Freetown, Lakeville, Plymouth, Carver, Bourne, Falmouth, and Buzzards Bay, Bourne, Buzzard's Bay, Onset, and Wareham.
For Weddings, We Offer Delivery to the South Shore, South Coast and reach as far as Tiverton RI, Little Compton RI, Providence RI, Seekonk MA, and also the upper Cape Cod area (in the off season)

Yes, we are licensed, inspected and certified by the Rochester Massachusetts Board of Health.
We are a commercial kitchen and operate under a bakery license with all necessary insurance certificates.

Yes, we offer white glove delivery by our tenured staff for wedding orders.
Wedding cakes require special care and handling and wedding delivery, including all setup, starts at $150.

Please specify at the time of ordering if you or a member of your party has a food allergy.
We are NOT a nut-free facility, however, if you are in need of peanut-free or nut-free baked goods, please contact us at least 7 days prior to your party date, we can take on nut-free and peanut-free orders and keep all items separate from nut-containing goods.
One of our staff members has a severe tree-nut allergy, and we are extremely aware of the proper protocol to limit and expunge cross-contamination.

Absolutely! Gluten-free cakes, cupcakes and cookies are available. Many of our Pre-Designed Cakes are offered in a GF option.
Our gluten-free cakes taste like our standard cakes! Many of our clients have called one bite into our cakes just to check that they indeed are gluten-free because they cannot tell the difference.

Absolutely! Everything we bake is made-to-order and we do not freeze anything!
We make all of our cakes, cupcakes, frostings, fillings, pies, cookies, and all sweets from scratch with time-tested recipes.

Artisan Bake Shop prides itself on using only the freshest and finest ingredients to create our cakes and pastries. We are confident that you will be pleased with your purchase and will become a repeat customer.
However, if you are not satisfied, we ask that you return all uneaten portions of your dessert. Refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis and can only be done if we have the opportunity to evaluate the specific dessert in question. Artisan Bake Shop may issue the refund in part or in whole depending on what we can determine was the cause for return. Refunds, when issued, come in the form of a merchandise credit valid for 60 days.
