Winter Wedding Cake | The Villa, East Bridgewater

A winter wedding cake for Derek and Victoria at The Villa in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts

A Three Tiered Buttercream Cake with a Winter Theme

Snow capped mountains and a flocked trees created a timeless feel for Derek and Victoria’s Winter Wonderland wedding!

This three tiered winter wedding cake was such a stunning centerpiece at their ballroom wedding in East Bridgewater in January!

Three tiers frosted in a smooth and creamy vanilla buttercream were highlighted with carefully frosted mountain peaks and snow covered trees.

Snowflakes Cascade on the Cake

A snowflake cake topper gives height and dimension to the design and handmade sugar snowflakes cascaded down the front of the cake just like falling snow! Shades of white and ivory allowed the design to shine with very little color.

Adding Winter Accents to the Table

Pine boughs and pinecones decorated the cake table and a creamy ivory linen covered the table. I love the different shades of white on the cake and the table cloth. It makes all of the details pop!

Classic Cake Flavors to Satisfy Every Sweet Craving

The couple chose two have two different flavors throughout the tiers.

The top and middle tiers were vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling. The bottom tier was chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream filling. Splitting the flavors in this way gave the couple 50% of their servings as vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling. and the other 50% of the servings as chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream filling.
