You're knee-deep in wedding planning, and everyone seems to have an opinion. Then, you receive your RSVPs and...

Wait for it...

You know those guests who write on their RSVP card, "I can't have gluten"? Yeah, those guests.

Haven't received any RSVPs like that yet? Just wait! This used to be a source of anxiety for our wedding clients, but not anymore. Read on to learn why.

In the past, couples would ask us to bake 12 gluten-free cupcakes and place them on a platter next to the regular cake. In theory, this seems like a great idea. In practice, however, it doesn't work.

Why? Well, let me tell you. The non-gluten-free guests are often curious and want to try them, or they may have had one too many drinks and need a snack. As a result, they end up eating the gluten-free cupcakes before the gluten-free guests even get a chance.

But don't worry! We've come up with a great solution that accommodates every guest's special dietary needs and helps to eliminate cross-contamination, too.

We Individually Box a Special Cupcake for Each Wedding Guest with a Dietary Need or Allergy

Whether Your Guests Are:

  • Gluten-Free (no wheat products)

  • Dairy-Free (cow’s milk allergy/intolerance)

  • Vegan (no animal products: this includes honey, butter, milk, cream, eggs)

  • Peanut Free (no peanut products)

  • Tree Nut Free (no tree nuts or tree nut products. Tree nuts include but are not limited to pistachios, almonds, cashew, hazlenuts, filberts, brazil nuts, walnuts)

We bake a separate cupcake for each guest that accommodates their dietary needs.

Here’s How It Works:

Wedding Guests with Special Dietary Needs:

  • Do you have any guests with special dietary restrictions?

    • If you don’t now, you will later on! Trust us! (or maybe not, it’s up to you!)

  • When your final wedding RSVP count is due you’ll send along: each guests name/table number/dietary restriction and we will accommodate these guests with individually boxed complimentary cupcakes in chef's choice flavors.

  • You’ll List it Like This: Guest Name+Table Number+ Allergy/Dietary Need.

    • For Example: Michael Smith Table 5 Gluten-Free

Can I Pick the Flavor For Each Guest?

  • No, Unfortunately that would be impossible. You need to trust us and the flavor that each guest receives is the choice of our Pastry Chef, Meredith

We make sure to individually box special cupcakes for each wedding guest with a dietary need or allergy.

  • The box has a sticker with their name, table number, and dietary need listed.

  • This makes it easy for your caterer or reception venue to discreetly pass them out to those guests.

Without this system, it could be embarrassing to have to call out guests' names and dietary needs at each table.

Is it important to accommodate guests with allergies?

  • It's up to each couple to decide. We understand that it can be a lot of work to track down gluten-free or peanut-free guests, but we're here to support you if it's important to you.

Can we accommodate every allergy?

  • No, sometimes there are just too many allergies for us to handle. But we'll be upfront with you about it, and we won't compromise a guest's health. We know that guests with allergies don't want to get sick, and they'll appreciate our honesty."We Individually Box that Special Cupcake for Each Wedding Guest with a Dietary Need or Allergy.
